매일 미사 부활 제7주간 토요일
Peter turned and saw the disciple following whom Jesus loved, the one who had also reclined upon his chest during the supper and had said, "Master, who is the one who will betray you?"
When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, "Lord, what about him?"
Jesus said to him, "What if I want him to remain until I come? What concern is it of yours? You follow me."
So the word spread among the brothers that that disciple would not die.
But Jesus had not told him that he would not die, just "What if I want him to remain until I come? What concern is it of yours?"
It is this disciple who testifies to these things and has written them, and we know that his testimony is true.
There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.
“내가 올 때까지 그가 살아 있기를 내가 바란다 할지라도, 그것이 너와 무슨 상관이 있느냐?” (요한 21,23)
다른 이를 보기 전에 저를 돌아보겠습니다.
판단은 하느님께서만 하실 수 있습니다.
저를 돌아보고 하느님을 바라보며 나아가겠습니다!
전능하신 하느님, 파스카 축제를 마치는 저희에게 너그러이 은혜를 베푸시어 저희가 그 신비를 삶으로 증언하게 하소서.
저희의 기도를 자비로이 들으시어 옛 악습을 버리고 거룩한 마음으로 새 삶을 살게 하소서.
“남과 싸울 필요가 없는 것이 너무나 기뻤습니다.” 『꽃들에게 희망을』이라는 책에 나오는 구절입니다. 이 책을 읽은 지 수십 년이 지났지만 ‘싸울 필요가 없다.’는 말은 언제나 저에게 위로가 됩니다. 날마다 그날의 말씀을 붙잡고 나의 길을 가는 것, 비교에 휘둘리거나 경쟁하느라 소모되지 않는 것, 내 삶에 집중하고 이를 소중히 여기며 살아가는 것이 가장 지혜로운 삶의 길입니다.
