Luke 5:1-11
While the crowd was pressing in on Jesus and listening
to the word of God, he was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret.
He saw two boats there alongside the lake; the fishermen had disembarked and were washing their nets.
Getting into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, he asked him to put out a short distance from the shore.
Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat.
After he had finished speaking, he said to Simon,
"Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch."
Simon said in reply, "Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets."
When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were tearing.
They signaled to their partners in the other boat
to come to help them.
They came and filled both boats so that the boats were in danger of sinking.
When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesus and said, "Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man."
For astonishment at the catch of fish they had made seized him and all those with him, and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners of Simon.
Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men."
When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed him.

“두려워하지 마라." (루카 5,10)
예수님께서는 두려움을 없애 주십니다.
늘 함께해 주시며 용기를 주셔서 그에 감사를 드립니다.
하느님의 은총으로 지금의 내가 되었습니다. 하느님께서 나에게 베푸신 은총은 헛되지 않았습니다. (1코린 15,10)
하느님의 은총으로 신앙 생활을 해 나갈 수 있었습니다.
은총 내려 주셔서 감사합니다.
하느님께서 베풀어 주신 은총 헛되지 않도록 살아가겠습니다.
주님, 주님의 가족을 자애로이 지켜 주시고 천상 은총만을 바라는 저희를 끊임없이 보호해 주소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.
주님께 감사하여라, 그 자애를, 사람들에게 베푸신 그 기적을. 그분은 목마른 이에게 물을 주시고, 굶주린 이를 좋은 것으로 배불리셨네. (시편 107(106),8-9)
교회를 박해하였기에 “칠삭둥이”(1코린 15,8)로 자처하는 바오로는 열두 사도와 달리 부활하신 예수님을 만난 은총으로 정화되어 “지금의 내가”(15,10) 되었음을 고백합니다. 우리도 부르심부터 파견에 이르는 과정에서 이렇게 우리의 합당함이 아니라 부당함을 정화하여 응답을 준비시켜 주는 은총에 자신을 내맡깁시다.
