Lk 10:25-37
There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test Jesus and said, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
Jesus said to him, "What is written in the law? How do you read it?"
He said in reply, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
He replied to him, "You have answered correctly; do this and you will live."
But because he wished to justify himself, he said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"
Jesus replied, "A man fell victim to robbers as he went down from Jerusalem to Jericho. They stripped and beat him and went off leaving him half-dead. A priest happened to be going down that road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side. Likewise a Levite came to the place, and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side. But a Samaritan traveler who came upon him was moved with compassion at the sight. He approached the victim, poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them. Then he lifted him up on his own animal, took him to an inn, and cared for him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper with the instruction, 'Take care of him. If you spend more than what I have given you, I shall repay you on my way back.' Which of these three, in your opinion, was neighbor to the robbers' victim?"He answered, "The one who treated him with mercy."
Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."
율법 교사가 “그에게 자비를 베푼 사람입니다.” 하고 대답하자, 예수님께서 그에게 이르셨다. “가서 너도 그렇게 하여라.” (루카 10,37)
사랑과 자비가 가득한 하느님 닮아가는 신앙인 되려고 하겠습니다.
전능하시고 영원하신 하느님, 저희 공로와 소망보다 더 큰 은혜를 베풀어 주시니 저희 기도를 들으시어 양심의 가책을 받은 저희 죄를 용서하시고 감히 청하지 못하는 은혜도 내려 주소서.
주님이 말씀하신다. 내가 너희에게 새 계명을 준다. 서로 사랑하여라. 내가 너희를 사랑한 것처럼 너희도 서로 사랑하여라. (요한 13,34 참조)
당신을 바라는 이에게, 당신을 찾는 영혼에게 주님은 좋으신 분. (애가 3,25)
오늘 복음에서 우리는 사랑은 ‘이론’이 아니라 ‘실천’임을 배웁니다. 하느님께서 당신 아들의 십자가 죽음으로 사랑을 보여 주셨듯이, 우리도 이웃을 사랑하면서 하느님 사랑을 증언하여야 할 것입니다.
