바람만이 알고 있지

Matthew 15:21-28

At that time Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

And behold, a Canaanite woman of that district came and called out, “Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is tormented by a demon.”

But he did not say a word in answer to her.

His disciples came and asked him, “Send her away, for she keeps calling out after us.”

He said in reply, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

But the woman came and did him homage, saying, “Lord, help me.”

He said in reply, “It is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.”

She said, “Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters.”

Then Jesus said to her in reply, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.”

And her daughter was healed from that hour.

그러자 그 여자가 “주님, 그렇습니다. 그러나 강아지들도 주인의 상에서 떨어지는 부스러기는 먹습니다.” 하고 말하였다. (마태 15,27)

딸을 향한 엄마의 큰 사랑이 느껴집니다. 이 사랑은 하느님께로부터 왔습니다.

주님, 주님의 종들에게 끊임없이 자비를 베푸시니 주님을 창조주요 인도자로 모시는 이들과 함께하시어 주님께서 창조하신 모든 것을 새롭게 하시고 새롭게 하신 모든 것을 지켜 주소서.

주님, 천상 양식으로 새로운 힘을 주시니 언제나 주님의 사랑으로 저희를 보호하시어 저희가 영원한 구원을 받게 하소서.

강아지들도 주인의 상에서 떨어지는 부스러기는 먹습니다”(마태 15,27). 오늘 복음에 나오는 여인의 지혜로운 대답에서 우리 자신을 되돌아보게 됩니다.
